In July 2015, Justine and Robinson purchased a small C&C 24 sailboat on Vancouver Island with the intention of living aboard, and eventually travelling the world.
Of course, money was short, and consequently so was the length of the boat.
Justine grew up in the middle of the landmass that is North America, and trained as an artist/teacher of media in British Columbia. She has been obsessed with making and sailing water-crafts for some years now.
Robinson is the husband who grew up at sea. Robi has been taking care of boats all his life. He’s a gourmet, small-space chef with a heart of gold to match his gold earring.
They sailed tiny Maiweh, a C&C 24, down the Pacific Coast, and then restored a 33 foot Bayliner Buccaneer, Rossa, in San Francisco.
S/V Rossa carried them on an amazing adventure down to Mexico, up into the Sea of Cortez, and all the way down to the country's southern border near Guatemala. Rossa is now preparing for upcoming journeys with her new owner.
Stay tuned for the upcoming sailing adventures on a new vessel!
